Refund & cancellation policy
These rules apply to paid advisory consultations for employment consulting in Germany offered by DataPlatformsx Career Advisory.
Eligibility
Refunds apply to fees paid for consultations that have not been fully delivered, subject to the conditions below. Informational pages and free enquiry replies are not purchasable items and carry no refund.
Timeframe
Cancellation requests should be sent to info@dataplatformsx.digital at least 48 hours before a scheduled session for a full refund of that session’s fee, if no substantial written deliverable has already been prepared.
Full and partial refunds
- Full refund: You cancel more than 48 hours before the first session and we have not started document review or written preparation.
- Partial refund: You cancel after preparation has begun or after one or more sessions in a multi-session package. We refund the unused session portion minus preparation time already spent, itemised in writing.
- No refund: No-shows without notice; sessions completed as agreed; packages where all included sessions and revision passes are delivered.
Non-refundable items
Third-party costs you incur (translations, notarisation, travel, visa fees) are never refunded by us. Deposits expressly marked non-refundable in a written engagement letter remain non-refundable after the stated cooling-off window, if any.
Deposits
Some engagements require a deposit to reserve session dates. Deposits are applied to the final fee. If you cancel outside the 48-hour window, the deposit may be retained to cover preparation already performed.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule a session once without fee if you give at least 24 hours’ notice and we have capacity. Further reschedules may be treated as cancellations of that slot.
Work already started
Once we have begun reviewing your CV, job ads, or relocation checklist, that preparation time is billable even if you later cancel remaining live sessions.
Refund process and method
Email info@dataplatformsx.digital with your name, invoice reference, and reason. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.
